The Story

Geometry is one and eternal shining in the mind of God.
Johannes Kepler

The basis for the design of the parasol is a five-fold principle of form, which inspired the artist and designer Markus Schaller early on to create a wide variety of works of art, some of which are expansive. This shape can be found in the golden ratio, Johannes Kepler's theories of harmony, the so-called quasicrystals and as a structural principle of living creatures and plants such as the tropical plant Calotropis. The parasol is named after it. Production takes place at Koch Membranen in Rimsting in compliance with the highest quality standards.
